About the position

We are seeking a skilled Full Stack Developer with expertise in Django and React to join our dynamic remote team. This role involves participating in the entire software development lifecycle, from concept and design to implementation and optimization, while collaborating with product managers, designers, and other developers to create user-friendly, high-performance web applications.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain web applications using Django for backend development and React for frontend development.
• Ensure that applications are performant, responsive, and accessible.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including UX/UI designers and product managers, to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
• Engage in brainstorming sessions to contribute innovative ideas that enhance user experience.
• Build and integrate RESTful APIs and third-party services, ensuring seamless data flow between frontend and backend systems.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code, following best practices and industry standards.
• Conduct thorough testing and debugging to ensure the quality and reliability of applications.
• Monitor and optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability, implementing performance enhancements and refactoring code as necessary.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation of code, processes, and technical specifications.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends, participating in team knowledge-sharing sessions.
• Provide guidance and support to junior developers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and collaboration within the team.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Full Stack Developer or in a similar role, with a strong portfolio of projects showcasing skills in Django and React.
• Proficient in Django and React.
• Experience with database systems such as PostgreSQL or MySQL.
• Familiarity with version control systems, particularly Git.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot and debug complex issues.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a remote work environment.
• A proactive and self-motivated individual who can work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with cloud services (AWS, Azure, etc.).
• Knowledge of containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines.
