As a DLP Cloud Security Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining Data Loss Prevention (DLP) security measures within cloud environments. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop and enforce security policies, identify vulnerabilities, and create robust security solutions for cloud-based systems. You will play a critical role in ensuring that the organization's cloud security practices are effective and compliant with industry standards and regulations. Your primary focus will be on developing and implementing a comprehensive cloud DLP security strategy that aligns with the organization's goals and compliance requirements. This includes designing and architecting secure cloud solutions, taking into account various aspects such as network security, identity and access management (IAM), encryption, and data protection. You will continuously monitor cloud environments for security threats, vulnerabilities, and anomalies, guiding the implementation of proactive measures to address security concerns effectively. In addition, you will ensure that cloud security practices adhere to industry standards and regulatory compliance, such as GDPR, HIPAA, or SOC 2. Establishing reporting routines that provide visibility into the effective execution of long-term maturity and strategic plans will also be part of your responsibilities. You will consult with control owners and others on developing complete and repeatable control processes, including control documentation such as procedures, control evidence, narratives, control matrices, and metrics. Furthermore, you will be tasked with developing high-level presentations tailored for executives and stakeholders, ensuring that they are informed about the security posture and initiatives within the cloud environment.
