About the position

This position is a test posting for new portal functionality at United Airlines. It is a hybrid role that supports the Corporate Support Center in Houston, TX, and is part of the Finance teams that provide essential financial analyses and strategies to ensure the airline's profitability and success.

Requirements

• Bachelors degree
• Proven analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
• Strong oral and written communication skills for various audiences, including senior leadership
• Confirmed negotiation skills
• Dedication to customer service excellence
• Minimum of three years of finance and/or airline experience
• Knowledge and application of Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) concepts and strategic sourcing process
• Reliable, punctual attendance is a crucial function of the position
• Showed strength leading multiple concurrent projects of various scales from start to finish
• Proven experience with Microsoft Office Products, including MS Word and MS Excel; solid understanding of MS PowerPoint
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship
• Successful completion of interview required to meet job qualification

Nice-to-haves

• FAA A&P License
• CPSM Certification or other relevant certification
• Experience acting as a change agent that seeks out and advocates new and innovative solutions to meet the business needs
• Two years of experience in commercial aircraft maintenance or commercial aircraft maintenance planning
