About the position

The DO178C SQA SOI Audit Consultant position in Everett, WA, is a contract role focused on ensuring compliance with the DO-178C standard throughout the software development process. The consultant will leverage extensive experience in DO178C SOI level 1 and 2 audits, contributing to audit certification activities and supporting quality assurance processes.

Responsibilities

• Conduct DO-178C SOI level 1 & 2 audits to ensure compliance with standards.
• Support SOI audit certification activities throughout the software development process.
• Establish and implement quality assurance processes, including audits, reviews, and inspections.
• Manage configuration processes, including version control and baselining of software and hardware configurations.
• Perform software verification and validation, including test planning, test case design, execution, and result analysis.

Requirements

• Extensive experience in DO178C - SOI level 1 & 2 audits (minimum 3 years required).
• Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Knowledge of quality assurance processes and the establishment of quality plans.
• Familiarity with configuration management processes.
• Expertise in software verification and validation techniques.
