Responsibilities

• Assist in the loading and unloading of boats, trucks, and other transportation vehicles
• Secure boats/equipment using appropriate equipment and techniques
• Operate forklifts, cranes, and other machinery to move cargo as needed
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dock area
• Inspect equipment for any damages or malfunctions and report any issues to supervisors
• Follow safety protocols and guidelines at all times to ensure a safe working environment

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience working in a dock or warehouse setting preferred
• Mechanical knowledge and ability to operate machinery such as forklifts and cranes
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
• Physical stamina to lift heavy objects and work in various weather conditions
• Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members
