Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 0-2 years of experience in a related field preferred.
• Ability to operate forklifts or pallet jacks once authorized.
• Attention to detail and good follow-up skills.
• Ability to read and interpret business documents and write routine reports.
• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Word and Excel.
• Ability to communicate clearly and persuasively with all levels of an organization.
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.

Nice To Haves

• Forklift certification preferred.
• Experience in the Freight Forwarding or Transportation industry.

Responsibilities

• Safely unload, sort, handle, and load freight according to instructions and regulations.
• Move freight, stock, or materials to and from storage or production areas using hand or equipment.
• Read work orders or receive instructions to determine work assignments or material needs.
• Maintain records for accurate, on-time completion of shipments.
• Collaborate in a team environment to accomplish work assignments.
• Utilize computers and warehouse management systems to track inventory and create paperwork.
• Support and promote company core values.
• Comply with security procedures and perform other assigned duties.
