About the position

The Document and Media Exploitation (DOMEX) Analyst position is located within the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), specifically in the Office of Intelligence and Analysis (I&A) at the Homeland Identity Intelligence Center (HI2C). This role is critical for providing real-time intelligence support to law enforcement by analyzing data derived from various digital media sources. The position requires the incumbent to work in a 24x7 shift operation, contributing to actionable intelligence and supporting national security efforts.

Responsibilities

  • Support 24x7 shift operations for real-time intelligence support to law enforcement.
  • Analyze data from multiple sources, including digital media devices, to uncover derogatory information.
  • Utilize specialized technical and digital forensic software for analysis and triage of information.
  • Provide actionable intelligence to law enforcement operators.
  • Engage continuously with operational customers to understand sensitive case dynamics.
  • Prepare and disseminate intelligence tips and leads products.
  • Draft and edit intelligence community cable message traffic.
  • Conduct counter-network targeting analysis as required.
  • Respond to Requests for Information (RFIs) and other analytic requests.

Requirements

  • Must be able to hold a TS/SCI Security Clearance.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen.
  • At least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 grade level in the Federal service for GS-13 level qualification.
  • Mastery of intelligence research, foreign disclosure, and collection methods.
  • Expert knowledge of national cybersecurity and intelligence community operations.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to present complex ideas effectively.
