About the position

The Document Management Analyst / Instructional Designer will support and implement engineering software within the Department, focusing on the Bentley ProjectWise system. This role involves user support, training, and documentation to enhance the Department's engineering software standards and practices.

Responsibilities

• Assist Department personnel in the implementation of new engineering software
• Serve as one of the Administrators for the Departments Engineering Document Management system (Bentley ProjectWise)
• Support the Departments electronic file exchange tool (Bentley ProjectWise Deliverables Management) for internal and external staff
• Provide day to day user support
• Assist in maintaining the Departments Engineering Software standards and documentation
• Develop/conduct engineering software user training sessions
• Document/revise existing and new business processes to meet new/revised engineering software requirements
• Develop engineering software best practices
• Investigate new and emerging engineering technology and make recommendations to Department personnel and management for implementation.

Requirements

• Excellent organizational and planning skills
• Competent in the use of MS Office suite (5 years)
• 2 years of Experience in developing technical documentation
• 5 years of Experience working in an Architectural or Engineering environment

Nice-to-haves

• Experience providing customer support (2 years)
• Familiarity with ServiceNOW
• 2 years of Using/supporting document management systems such as Bentley ProjectWise
• 2 years of Developing training materials and conducting training sessions
