About the position

The Document Management Coordinator at Transamerica is responsible for processing inbound and outbound mail, preparing, scanning, and indexing documents into the Automated Workflow Distribution system (AWD). This role is essential in ensuring efficient document management and supports the overall operations of the company by maintaining accurate records and facilitating communication through effective mail processing.

Responsibilities

  • Process incoming mail including identification, research, keying, and preparation for scanning.
  • Key customer/group policies and scan documents into AWD.
  • Perform data entry for document identification within AWD.
  • Store documents and retrieve them as needed.
  • Process outgoing mail as required.
  • Research and process returned mail as necessary.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or related work experience.
  • Accurate data entry and 10-key skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Basic understanding of MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
  • Good interpersonal communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.
  • Valid driver's license as applicable by work location.
