About the position

The Documentation/Content Writer/Technical Writer position at Alltake Solutions involves creating and managing a variety of technical documents for the medical industry. The role focuses on ensuring compliance with industry standards while collaborating with subject matter experts to produce user-friendly content. The writer will be responsible for maintaining documentation accuracy and version control, as well as integrating visual elements to enhance understanding.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, write, and edit a variety of technical documents, including user manuals, training materials, system specifications, regulatory submissions, and white papers.
  • Ensure documentation complies with industry standards, such as FDA, ISO 13485, MDR, and other relevant regulatory frameworks.
  • Partner with subject matter experts (SMEs), software developers, and healthcare professionals to gather, verify, and integrate technical information.
  • Translate complex technical details into accessible content for diverse audiences, including medical practitioners, patients, and regulators.
  • Organize and maintain documentation repositories, ensuring up-to-date and accurate version control.
  • Regularly update content based on feedback, new product developments, and regulatory changes.
  • Work with graphic designers and developers to include visuals, charts, and other elements that enhance understanding.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Technical Communication, Biomedical Sciences, Healthcare Technology, or related fields.
  • 3+ years of technical writing experience in the medical industry.
  • Proficiency in documentation tools like MadCap Flare, Adobe FrameMaker, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements, such as FDA 21 CFR Part 11, MDR, and ISO 13485.
  • Strong knowledge of medical and technical terminology.
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with Microsoft PowerPoint (1 year preferred).
