About the position

The Documentation Engineer will manage detailed documentation and submittals for municipal water filtration projects, ensuring compliance with government standards while collaborating closely with engineers and project management. This role is crucial for maintaining the integrity and accuracy of project documentation in the water filtration industry.

Responsibilities

• Create and compile detailed submittal documents, including hydraulic schematics, technical bulletins, and exploded-view diagrams for municipal projects.
• Prepare and organize Operations and Maintenance (O&M) manuals.
• Collaborate with engineering and sales teams to produce accurate project drawings and layouts using AutoCAD and Inventor software.
• Ensure documentation meets municipal and government standards for proposals and approvals.
• Assist with data entry and maintain project information within the corporate database.
• Attend conference calls and client meetings to support project planning and execution.
• Manage version control and updates to existing documentation for ongoing projects.

Requirements

• Associate's degree or equivalent technical experience.
• 3-5 years of experience in manufacturing, project engineering, or municipal project environments.
• Proficient in 2D and 3D CAD software (AutoCAD and Inventor required).
• Familiarity with mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
• Strong organizational, communication, and time management skills.
• Proficient in Adobe Suite and Microsoft Office.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to learn quickly and manage complex documentation.
