About the position
The DOD Assembly & Test Technician will be responsible for assembling and testing various components and systems, ensuring the quality and functionality of products. This role is crucial for maintaining operational efficiency and reliability through precise assembly and thorough testing.
Responsibilities
- Perform assembly and testing of components and systems according to specifications
- Inspect and troubleshoot equipment and products to identify and resolve any issues
- Follow standard operating procedures and safety guidelines
- Maintain accurate records of product and quality defects
- Work with cross-functional teams to improve processes and product quality
Requirements
- Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- 1 years of experience in assembly within an aviation or electrical manufacturing environment
- Associate's degree in a technical field
- Experience working in a manufacturing environment
- Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing ethics
- Good communication and teamwork skills
