About the position

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Pet Bather to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality bathing to pets, ensuring they leave looking and feeling their best. You will work closely with pet owners to understand their needs and preferences, creating a positive experience for both pets and their owners.

Responsibilities

• Bathe and dry pets according to breed standards and owner specifications.
• Maintain a clean and organized bathing area, ensuring all tools and equipment are sanitized after each use.
• Communicate effectively with pet owners about their pets' grooming needs and any observations regarding their health or behavior.
• Assist in maintaining inventory of grooming supplies and report any shortages to management.
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing client inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally.
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure a smooth workflow in the grooming area.

Requirements

• Previous experience in animal care or handling, including roles such as veterinary assistant, pet sitter, or kennel staff, is required.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with pet owners.
• Ability to handle animals of various sizes and temperaments safely.
• A genuine love for animals and a commitment to their well-being is essential.

Nice-to-haves

• Knowledge of pet grooming techniques is a plus but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate.
