Dog Daycare/Boarding Attendant

About the position

The Dog Daycare/Boarding Attendant at Tiny Tails of Syracuse Inc. is responsible for supervising and caring for small to medium-sized dogs in a daycare setting. This part-time role involves cleaning, feeding, and ensuring the well-being of the dogs, as well as managing client interactions during pick-up times. The position requires flexibility in scheduling, with shifts primarily on weekdays and some weekends.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and clean up after 20-30 small/small medium dogs in a daycare setting.
• Handle client pick-up of dogs and lock up for the night.
• Feed and settle down boarders for the overnight.
• Perform sweeping, mopping, and deep cleaning of play areas on weekends.
• Ensure the well-being of dogs during afternoon/closing shifts, often alone.

Requirements

• Experience in pet care or kennel work.
• Ability to handle dogs safely and effectively.
• Organizational skills and reliability.
• Ability to follow instructions.

Benefits
