About the position
Hound Around Resort is seeking an energetic and passionate Dog Handler to join their team. The primary responsibility of this role is to interact with and supervise dogs in a free-play environment while ensuring cleanliness and sanitization standards are maintained. The position requires availability for mornings, nights, weekends, and some holidays.
Responsibilities
- Managing groups of dogs in a free-play environment.
- Keeping play areas clean of waste.
- Preparing food for the dogs.
- General playroom and kennel cleaning.
Requirements
- Experience interacting, training, or supervising dogs.
- Must be able to stand/walk for long periods of time.
- Must be able to provide a current record of tetanus booster.
- Must be able to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Must be 17 years of age or older.
