The Dog Trainer & Group Class Instructor at Zoom Room is responsible for leading group and private dog training classes, providing exceptional customer service, and maintaining a welcoming environment for both dogs and their owners. This role emphasizes positive reinforcement training and aims to strengthen the bond between dogs and their people. The ideal candidate is passionate about dogs, enjoys working with people, and is eager to make a difference in the community, particularly with newly rescued shelter dogs.

Responsibilities

• Leading group and private dog training classes
• Providing outstanding customer service and reception
• Supervising social events and playgroups
• Maintaining a clean and welcoming gym environment
• Assisting with retail product sales
• Sharing plenty of head scratches and belly rubs

Requirements

• Experience with dog training (preferred)
• Strong backgrounds in customer service, retail sales, teaching, coaching, or performing
• Excellent communication and multitasking skills
• Desire to make a difference in the community
• Comfortable teaching or presenting to groups
• Exceptional people skills and attention to detail
• Enjoy working in a fast-paced environment
• Reliable transportation
