About the position
WufSter is seeking responsible and reliable Dog Walkers to join our passionate team of pet care experts. The role involves walking dogs of various breeds, providing care, and maintaining communication with clients. Candidates should be active, organized, and possess a valid driver's license, as the position requires driving to different locations. This is a part-time or full-time position with flexible scheduling, including potential evening and weekend availability.
Responsibilities
- Undergo a week of training and evaluation.
- Meet with clients outside of normal working hours.
- Walk dogs for a couple of hours at a time in various weather conditions.
- Handle dogs of all breeds, from small to large.
- Use a smartphone to access schedules and communicate with management.
- Send daily pictures to clients after each walk.
- Maintain a midday schedule Monday through Friday between 10AM and 5PM.
Requirements
- At least 18 years old.
- Valid Driver's License and ability to work in the USA.
- Minimum of 1 year experience in the pet industry or related field.
- Ability to follow detailed instructions for dog walking.
- Good problem-solving skills and ability to communicate professionally.
Nice-to-haves
- Background in the pet industry is a major plus.
- Experience as a veterinary assistant or veterinary technician.
