About the position
The Donation Attendant plays a crucial role in supporting the operations of Goodwill Industries by serving as a point of contact for donors. This part-time position involves receiving, sorting, and pricing donated items, as well as assisting customers and maintaining the cleanliness of the store.
Responsibilities
- Greet, assist and provide excellent service to customers and donors.
- Follow company merchandise processes; receive, sort, process, stock, restock, and rotate merchandise on shelves.
- Clean the store/parking area, take out trash, dust and mop store floors, clean restroom and receiving room.
Requirements
- Effective interpersonal and oral communication skills.
- Understanding of safety policies and practices.
- Ability to read and follow planogram and merchandise presentation guides.
- Basic mathematical skills.
- Ability to stock merchandise.
