About the position
The Donation Door Lead at Goodwill Industries of Southwest Florida is responsible for overseeing the Donation Door area, ensuring efficient processing of donations while providing excellent customer service. This full-time position involves operating a forklift, assisting Donation Door Attendants, and adhering to Kaizen guidelines to maintain operational standards.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the Donation Door area and ensure compliance with Kaizen guidelines.
- Operate a forklift and assist Donation Door Attendants with the receipt, recording, and sorting of donations.
- Process and clean donations, providing customer service as needed.
- Build fixtures and equipment as instructed by the immediate supervisor.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
- High School diploma or GED equivalent.
- Forklift certification preferred.
- Experience in retail and/or stock handling.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience with pallet jacks and other equipment.
- Basic math skills.
