About the position
The Donation Xpress Attendant at Goodwill Industries of Central Florida plays a crucial role in providing excellent customer service while managing the receipt of donations. This position involves interacting with donors, sorting items, and ensuring a smooth donation process, all while adhering to safety and cleanliness standards.
Responsibilities
- Opening and closing the donation center.
- Greeting each donor with a courteous, friendly, and professional attitude.
- Respectfully receiving donations while issuing donation receipts, regardless of donation size or the number of articles.
- Assisting donors with lifting items in and out of their vehicles.
- Sorting donations in accordance with all GICF policies and procedures.
- Adhering to all safety and cleanliness standards as directed.
- Assisting in loading GICF trucks with donated items as needed.
Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Previous retail and/or stock handling experience is preferred.
