Responsibilities

• Take the time to personally connect with donors, listen to their stories, and help them understand the impact of their donation.
• Collaborate with teammates to create a welcoming and friendly environment for volunteer donors.
• Be detail-oriented to ensure that the blood collected meets goals, regulatory requirements, and can be safely transfused.

Requirements

• Associates degree or a combination of education and work experience.
• Minimum of one year customer service experience in a public setting required.
• A current, valid driver's license with a good driving record may be required.
• Physical requirements include the ability to lift, push or pull heavy weights, good manual dexterity, and the ability to sit or stand for long periods.
• Basic computer skills are required, with proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

Nice-to-haves

• Prior healthcare or phlebotomy experience (CNA, MA, EMT, etc.)
• Prior leadership experience.
