About the position

The Donor Database & Operations Specialist at United Way of Utah County plays a crucial role in supporting the Resource Development and Finance teams. This position is responsible for maintaining the integrity of the donor database, processing donations, and providing administrative support for fundraising initiatives. The specialist will ensure accurate data management, oversee the Salesforce CRM platform, and contribute to operational efficiency while supporting the organization's mission to assist families and children in need.

Responsibilities

• Accurately process donor pledges, payments, and designations to ensure data integrity.
• Oversee and maintain the organization's Salesforce CRM platform, ensuring system updates and data accuracy.
• Train and support staff in using Salesforce CRM, fostering a culture of data fluency.
• Lead donation site setup and management for community giving and special events.
• Generate timely and accurate reports and data analysis to support donation tracking and campaign performance.
• Manage daily bank deposits and ensure accurate financial processing and reconciliation.
• Support donor stewardship by managing the acknowledgment process, including tax receipts and thank-you letters.

Requirements

• Proficient in CRM software, specifically Salesforce.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work with diverse stakeholders.
• Experience in data management and project management.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and word processing.
