About the position
The Donor Ministries Representative at Samaritans Purse plays a crucial role in engaging with donors and the public to support the organization's mission of spreading the Gospel. This position involves maintaining relationships with donors, processing correspondence, and participating in donor events, all while embodying the values of the organization. The role requires a commitment to personal faith and the ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Maintain personal relationship with Jesus Christ and be an effective witness for Him
- Interface with donors and the general public
- Make outbound calls to donors
- Apply critical thinking and problem-solving skills to interpret donor requests
- Meet or exceed ministry quality standards regarding professionalism, timeliness, accuracy, and compassion
- Read, sort, and respond to emails in various inboxes
- Assist with donor events as a ministry representative
- Process outgoing correspondence and ensure quality checking and documentation in donor records
- Participate in support of seasonal needs, special assignments, and promotional campaigns
- Follow policies and procedures as set forth in the Policy Manual
- Perform all other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Four-year college or university program degree
- 1 to 2 years of related experience and/or training
- Proficiency in ten different software systems including DonorStudio, PayConex, WebServices, Avaya, Workfront, SharePoint, Outlook, Word, Excel, Adobe, and multiple web browsers
