Responsibilities

  • Thoroughly examine and grade donated goods for sale.
  • Process goods in an accelerated manner to meet production goals.
  • Display a professional and patient attitude with guests.
  • Provide donation receipts to guests at the time of donating.
  • Handle guest questions and resolve problems according to standard procedures.
  • Sort donations into designated categories.
  • Communicate effectively with management when necessary.
  • Perform work tasks according to training and work instructions.
  • Promote cooperation and teamwork with peers.
  • Maintain a clean and organized donation center area.
  • Adhere to safety and security practices, reporting hazards to management.
  • Assist truck drivers with loading and unloading donations.
  • Attend and complete all required trainings and meetings.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED preferred.
  • One year or more of production experience preferred.
  • Basic math and reading skills required.
  • Good oral and written communication skills in English.
  • Interpersonal skills necessary for guest interaction.
  • Ability to work at any Goodwill of North Georgia ADC as needed.
  • Must be 18 years or older to operate a forklift.
