Responsibilities
- Examine and grade donated goods for resale in retail stores.
- Process goods quickly to meet production goals in a fast-paced environment.
- Display a professional and patient attitude with guests.
- Provide donation receipts to guests at the time of donating.
- Handle guest questions and resolve problems according to standard operating procedures.
- Sort donations into designated categories.
- Communicate effectively with management when necessary.
- Perform work tasks according to training playbooks and work instructions.
- Promote cooperation and teamwork with peers.
- Maintain a clean and organized donation center area.
- Adhere to safety and security practices, reporting hazards to management.
- Assist truck drivers with loading and unloading donations.
- Attend and complete all required trainings and meetings.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED preferred.
- One year or more of production experience preferred.
- Basic math and reading skills required.
- Good oral and written communication skills in English.
- Interpersonal skills necessary for guest interactions.
- Must be 18 years or older to operate a forklift.
