About the position
The position at New York Blood Center involves supporting the collection process of blood and blood products under the guidance of the Medical Director and Regional Collections Manager. Responsibilities
- Carry out assigned activities related to the overall collection process of blood and blood products.
- Ensure adherence to policies and procedures defined by NYBC, FDA, NJ/NYSDOH, and affiliated organizations.
Requirements
- Must have a car and a valid driver's license.
- Willing to travel and work a flexible schedule.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in healthcare, phlebotomy, and/or customer relations preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to speak and write in English.
- Ability to read and effectively follow directions.
- Experience working on computers.
