This position plays a crucial role in ensuring that our guests feel valued and cared for from the moment they arrive until their departure.

Responsibilities

  • Greet guests warmly upon arrival and departure, offering a friendly and professional demeanor at all times.
  • Open doors for guests entering and leaving the hotel, and offer assistance as needed.
  • Assist with luggage handling when necessary or coordinate with bell staff for luggage management.
  • Provide information on hotel services, amenities, and the local area (directions, transportation, nearby attractions, etc.).
  • Coordinate with the bell staff, valet, and front desk to ensure a smooth and seamless arrival and departure process for guests.
  • Maintain a tidy and presentable entrance area, ensuring the front of the hotel is clean, welcoming, and orderly.
  • Monitor guest arrivals and notify the front desk of VIP guests, regular guests, or special needs.
  • Assist with transportation arrangements, including hailing cabs, calling for valet service, or coordinating shuttle services as needed.
  • Assist in providing directions to local attractions or venues when requested by guests.
  • Handle guest complaints or concerns with professionalism, directing them to the appropriate department or supervisor when necessary.
  • Ensure safety protocols are followed in the entrance area, especially in high-traffic situations or emergencies.

Requirements

  • Demonstrates excellent interpersonal and communication skills; able to interact with guests from diverse backgrounds.
  • Observant and proactive in ensuring guest satisfaction and smooth operations at the hotel entrance.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Understanding of the luxury & quality environment.
