About the position

The Door Greeter at Beverly Wilshire, A Four Seasons Hotel, serves as the first welcoming face of the hotel, responsible for creating exceptional guest experiences through hospitality and professionalism. This role involves assisting guests and residents, providing local knowledge, and ensuring smooth traffic flow at the hotel entrance.

Responsibilities

• Respond to Resident support needs with the highest level of timeliness, hospitality, and professionalism.
• Respond to all resident requests in an accurate and timely manner, making recommendations based on local knowledge and residence best practices.
• Ensure timely and quality-driven completion of service requests.
• Greet and assist guests arriving by private car, taxi, or limo, including assisting them exiting from cars.
• Issue appropriate valet parking tickets to guests.
• Give verbal greetings to guests arriving on foot.
• Unload items from cars, tag them, and issue claim tickets when appropriate.
• Assist in delivering items to the unit.
• Ensure the smooth flow of traffic on the drive by directing cars and directing valet parkers to park cars.
• Ensure the drive is one-way only and does not permit unauthorized vehicles to pull into the entrance driveway.
• Provide directions, recommendations, and information about the city and its attractions.
• Hail taxis as needed.
• Resolve owner complaints and assist in all inquiries regarding services, hours of operations, key personnel, in-house events, etc.

Requirements

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage with guests and residents.
• Ability to provide exceptional customer service and hospitality.
• Knowledge of the local area and attractions to assist guests effectively.
• Professional demeanor and appearance.
