About the position

The Service Team Member at WeDoTrash is responsible for providing reliable and professional doorstep trash and recycling collection services within assigned apartment communities. This part-time role emphasizes consistency, accountability, and excellent customer service, ensuring that the community's waste management needs are met efficiently while promoting a positive company image.

Responsibilities

• Collect trash and recycling door to door within assigned apartment communities.
• Transfer collected items to the trash compactor or dumpster onsite.
• Maintain cleanliness around trash compactors, dumpsters, and trash chute rooms.
• Pick up loose and bagged trash from around the compactor/dumpster area.
• Document and report nightly time worked and any resident non-compliances via WeDoTrash's mobile application.
• Operate with consistency and reliability to maintain the expected level of service.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Must have reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.
• Must be able to speak and write in English.
• Must pass a background check.
• Must have a smartphone with a data plan and the ability to download apps.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in military, landscaping, waste work, or construction fields.
• Background in teaching, coaching, or first responder roles.
