About the position
We are seeking a vigilant and customer-oriented Door Person to join our team at Prince Property Management in Flushing, NY. The ideal candidate will ensure the safety and security of our premises while providing exceptional service to all visitors and guests. This position is crucial in maintaining a secure environment and requires a proactive approach to monitoring and managing the premises. The Door Person will be responsible for overseeing the security of the property, responding to incidents, and assisting guests with their needs. The role may involve working both part-time and full-time hours, with a pay rate of $16.00 per hour. The expected hours range from 20 to 40 per week, typically structured around an 8-hour shift. The position requires a commitment to maintaining a safe and welcoming environment for all visitors, which includes monitoring CCTV cameras, managing conflicts, and providing first aid assistance when necessary. The Door Person will also collaborate with law enforcement as needed and assist in loss prevention efforts. Candidates should be prepared to present relevant certificates for security training, including CPR and First Aid certifications, as part of their qualifications.
Responsibilities
- Monitor CCTV cameras to oversee premises security
- Manage conflicts or disturbances that may arise calmly and professionally

Requirements
- Prior experience in a militarized or security-related role is preferred
- Proficiency in surveillance techniques and procedures
