Responsibilities

• Implementing best practices to ensure that employees are working safely while performing transportation duties.
• Collection of samples from pre-employment, pre-access, post-accident, return to duty, etc.
• Maintaining business relationships with vendors and clients to support the training and safety needs of the company's workforce.
• Overseeing incident management, including care management of injured persons, securing the incident scene, forming investigation teams, conducting root cause analysis, and recommending corrective actions.
• Ensuring compliance with all government laws, regulations, and codes.
• Maintaining confidentiality of information shared by employees, customers, and coworkers.
• Driving a robust safety culture and assuring adherence to company HSE policies and procedures.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in DOT inspection, auditing, and/or safety inspection.
• Preferred certifications include OSHA 511, MSHA Blue Card (Underground and/or Surface), Safe land/PEC Trainer.
