About the position

The .Net Architect position is a senior-level role focused on designing and developing complex software solutions using the .NET framework and related technologies. The architect will be responsible for overseeing the development process, ensuring high-quality code, and optimizing performance in SQL Server environments. This role requires extensive experience in software engineering, particularly in .NET technologies, and a strong understanding of database management and cloud services.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop software solutions using .NET technologies.
• Optimize SQL queries and resolve performance issues in SQL Server.
• Implement design patterns such as the Repository Pattern.
• Provide production support and troubleshoot complex engineering problems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project success.
• Write and debug complex SQL queries, including outer, self, and recursive joins.

Requirements

• Minimum ten (10) years of experience in design, development, unit testing, and solving complex engineering problems.
• Proficiency in .NET Framework (4.6.2 and up), .NET 6 & 8, .NET MVC, Razor Pages, and .NET Entity Framework.
• Experience with Azure Authentication (Microsoft Entra) and Azure DevOps.
• Strong SQL Server skills, including performance optimization and query execution plans.
• Ability to write and debug complex queries and resolve SQL Server deadlocks.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with SSIS & SSRS for data integration and reporting.
• Familiarity with Bootstrap and JQuery for front-end development.
• Knowledge of messaging APIs.
