About the position

As a Doughnut Packer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our delicious doughnuts are packed fresh and meet our strict quality standards. This position is vital to the smooth operation of our delivery process, allowing our doughnut delivery drivers to efficiently get back on the road. Your enthusiasm and energy will contribute to making this role both fun and essential for our team. In this role, you will be responsible for packing our sweet treats and staging them in boxes and racks, preparing them for delivery. You will maintain cleanliness and organization in the loading area, checking for any quality issues and communicating these to your leaders. Additionally, you will organize the doughnuts according to the drivers' route orders and keep track of deliveries to various customers. There may also be opportunities for you to train in doughnut making and decorating, as well as assisting in other areas as requested by your leader. This position is ideal for individuals who prefer an active work environment, as you will be on the move while packing and loading doughnuts. You should be prepared to lift weights ranging from 25 to 30 pounds regularly, with occasional lifting of up to 60 pounds. Familiarity with cleaning equipment, such as mops and brooms, is necessary, as is the ability to read produce boxes and use measuring devices. The doughnut factory environment can be warm and somewhat noisy due to the equipment used in production.
