About the position

As a Drafter/Designer 2 in the Water division, you will play a crucial role in supporting project managers and engineers in the development of vertical projects, primarily focusing on wastewater and water treatment facilities and pumping stations. This position allows for hybrid work arrangements and emphasizes collaboration within a well-respected team known for its engineering excellence.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the design and drafting of project drawings including plans, sections, elevations, process instrumentation diagrams, renderings, and typical details.
• Provide design drafting for wastewater and water treatment process piping, structural features, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing drawings using Revit and AutoCAD.
• Consult on equipment selection and constructability issues.
• Guide drafting standards and procedures, and mentor junior design/drafters and engineers.

Requirements

• 5-7 years of experience supporting project managers and engineers.
• Specific experience in the development of wastewater and water treatment, pumping stations, chemical feed, HVAC/plumbing, and electrical systems.
• Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD.
• Diploma or certificate in civil technology or equivalent practical training.
• Broad understanding of engineering drawings.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with municipal infrastructure systems (sewer, water, storm drains, and roads).
• Familiarity with design and construction phase services for buildings, dams, spillways, and bridges.
