About the position

The Drafter/Designer position at Lam Research involves maintaining and updating site plans and building drawings, including various engineering and architectural elements. The role requires proficiency in CAD software and a strong understanding of design principles to ensure compliance with company standards and quality expectations.

Responsibilities

• Maintain Lam's site plans and building drawings, including electrical, mechanical, piping, and evacuation maps.
• Manage a centralized document management system for secure document storage.
• Update and add new CAD drawings from Construction or Engineering teams.
• Create and modify detailed drawings using CAD from sketches, layouts, or notes.
• Check drawings for correctness and conformance to standards.
• Assist in future CAD integration with Tririga Facilities Integrated Workplace Management System.
• Develop and implement document control processes for document management.
• Collaborate with the design team to review drawings and designs.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, architecture, design, or a similar field.
• 2-4 years of experience as a design drafter/document control specialist.
• Working knowledge of CAD software, drawing programs, and 3D modeling tools.
• Excellent knowledge of architectural and engineering design principles.
• Ability to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Demonstrated attention to detail and accuracy.
• Analytical mindset with problem-solving skills.

• Experience with Tririga Integrated Workplace Management System.
