About the position

We are seeking a skilled Drafter to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in mechanical engineering and drafting software, with an emphasis on creating precise technical drawings and schematics. This role requires attention to detail, creativity, and the ability to collaborate with engineers and project managers to ensure that designs meet industry standards and codes.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed technical drawings and schematics using AutoCad and Solidworks.
• Collaborate with engineers to understand project requirements and specifications.
• Ensure all designs comply with relevant codes and standards.
• Conduct Finite Element Analysis (FEA) to assess design performance under various conditions.
• Create and maintain accurate documentation of design processes and changes.
• Assist in the preparation of technical reports and presentations.
• Review completed designs for accuracy and completeness before final submission.

Requirements

• Proficiency in drafting software including AutoCad and Solidworks.
• Strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles.
• Familiarity with codes and standards relevant to drafting and design.
• Experience in creating schematics for various applications.
• Excellent technical writing skills for documentation purposes.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while managing individual tasks effectively.
• Attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
