Responsibilities

• Develop plans, details, and sections for civil and mining projects.
• Manage construction contracts and reports.
• Oversee rights-of-way acquisitions of various complexities and scopes.
• Work on projects related to regrading former surface mine areas and sealing mine openings.
• Address underground mine fires and install drainage control structures.
• Demolish derelict mine buildings and stabilize areas prone to subsidence.
• Treat mine drainage and restore wetlands affected by acid mine drainage.
• Address the replacement or treatment of individual water supplies impacted by historical coal mining activities.

Requirements

• Two years of experience as a Drafter.
• Two years of experience as an Environmental Engineering Technician, including one year of engineering, architectural or survey drafting work and six months of CADD experience or training.
• Two years of experience in engineering, architectural or survey drafting work, including six months of CADD experience or training, and an Associate's Degree in engineering technology or Computer Aided Drafting and Design.
• An equivalent combination of experience and/or training, including six months of CADD experience or training.

• Work hours are Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM with a 30-minute lunch.
