About the position

The Drafter Detailer position focuses on creating detailed fabrication drawings for glass and panel systems, including store fronts and curtain walls. The role requires proficiency in interpreting architectural and structural drawings to produce accurate and detailed plans, ensuring alignment with project specifications and updates as directed by project management.

Responsibilities

• Produce fabrication drawings including elevations, wall sections, floor plans, part details, door and hardware schedules, and glass schedules.
• Read, scale, and interpret architectural and structural drawings.
• Draft detailed drawings of structures and installations.
• Update drawings as per project manager's instructions.

Requirements

• Associates degree or CAD Certified.
• Prior drafting experience in a fabrication setting, specifically with glass, metal, curtain walls, store fronts, panel systems, aluminum, ornamental, and casework.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural and structural drawings.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
