In this position, the Junior Drafter will utilize software tools such as Solidworks and AutoCAD to create complex models and drawings, particularly for Department of Defense (DoD) projects. Familiarity with ASME drawing standards and practices is essential, as the role involves producing technical drawings that meet industry standards. The Junior Drafter will also be expected to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, to collaborate with team members and stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle. This position is crucial for supporting the engineering team in delivering high-quality technical documentation and designs that meet client specifications.

Requirements

  • Secret clearance
  • 2-5 years of experience with Solidworks and AutoCAD required
  • Experience with complex models
  • Experience with Department of Defense drawing packages
  • Familiarity with ASME drawing standards and practices
