About the position

We are seeking a skilled drafter to join our team in Mentor, OH. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating technical drawings and plans for a variety of one-of-a-kind projects, including libraries, kitchens, offices, and great rooms of luxurious homes and yachts. The drafter will collaborate closely with engineers, architects, and other internal team members to ensure that designs are accurate, complete, and meet all necessary specifications.

Responsibilities

• Create technical drawings and plans using computer-aided design (CAD) software
• Collaborate with engineers, architects, and other professionals to ensure that designs are accurate, complete, and meet all necessary specifications
• Review and revise drawings and plans as necessary
• Ensure that all drawings and plans are in compliance with applicable codes, regulations, and standards
• Prepare and maintain documentation related to drawings and plans
• Communicate with internal and external clients as necessary

Requirements

• Associate's degree in drafting OR 3+ years of related experience
• Proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) software, including 3D modeling experience
• Strong attention to detail
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in high-end millwork environment is a plus
