You will be responsible for creating layouts and detailed drawing sets for steel structures, ensuring strong attention to detail, accountability, and adherence to deadlines and quality standards. Knowledge or experience in steel fabrication and field construction is a plus. Additional duties may be assigned as necessary. The working hours are from 7:00 am to 4:00 pm, Monday through Friday.

Responsibilities

• Create layouts and detailed drawing sets for steel structures.
• Ensure strong attention to detail in all drawings and layouts.
• Adhere to deadlines and quality standards in all work produced.
• Interpret technical drawings and engineering concepts.
• Collaborate with team members and other departments as necessary.

Requirements

• Associates Degree or technical program certificate considered.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and interpreting technical drawings.
• Familiar with engineering concepts and terminology.
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Detail-oriented and methodical in approach to work.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently.
• Strong organizational and follow-up skills.
• Basic math skills (averages, percentages).
• Good communication skills.
