About the position

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Drafter to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in drafting techniques and experience with various design software such as AutoCAD, Sketch Up, and Mozaik. As a Drafter, you will play a crucial role in creating detailed drawings and schematics that support our engineering and design projects. Your expertise will contribute to the successful execution of projects from conception through completion.

Responsibilities

• Develop and prepare detailed 2D and 3D drawings using CAD software such as AutoCAD and SketchUp.
• Create schematics and layouts for various projects, ensuring accuracy and compliance with industry standards.
• Collaborate with engineers and project managers to understand project requirements and specifications.
• Employ Sketchup for conceptual designs and presentations to clients.
• Revise drawings based on feedback from team members or clients, ensuring all changes are accurately reflected.
• Maintain organized records of all drafts, revisions, and related documentation.

Requirements

• Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and Sketchup is essential.
• Experience with Moziak for programming CNC router is essential.
• Strong understanding of drafting principles and practices.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Excellent attention to detail with strong organizational skills.
• Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members across various disciplines.
• A degree or certification in drafting, engineering technology, or a related field is preferred but not required.
