About the position

As a Drafter at DN Tanks, you will be responsible for transforming engineering designs into detailed technical drawings for pre-construction services and construction. This role involves close collaboration with structural engineers to ensure that designs meet all specifications and quality standards, contributing to the company's mission of providing high-quality liquid storage design and construction services.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed technical drawings and plans based on engineering specifications and project requirements.
• Create and modify drawings using AutoCAD.
• Create dynamic blocks using fields.
• Collaborate with engineers to ensure clarity and feasibility of designs.
• Participate in design reviews and provide input to optimize constructability and functionality of our structures.
• Maintain drawing files and documentation in accordance with company procedures and ensure timely updates and revisions.
• Assist with the preparation of as-built drawings and documentation post-construction.
• Keep abreast of knowledge relating to drafting compliance and industry standards.

Requirements

• Associate degree or certification in Drafting, CAD Technology, or a related field.
• 5 years of drafting experience in construction, civil engineering, or a related industry.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD; experience with 3D modeling software (e.g., Revit) is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.
• Familiarity with construction documentation standards and practices.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team.
• Effective communication skills.
