About the position

The Project Design Drafter will create and modify engineering drawings using Computer Aided Design (CAD) software. These drawings are essential for engineering, production, and manufacturing processes, ensuring that all components meet project specifications. The role requires attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, reporting directly to the Project Engineering Manager.

Responsibilities

• Create and modify engineering drawings using CAD software.
• Ensure drawings meet technical details, specifications, and materials requirements.
• Support procurement, machining, assembly, and testing of products with accurate drawings.
• Coordinate various routine projects and activities simultaneously.
• Maintain high levels of design and manufacturing quality to minimize risks.

Requirements

• Associates degree or completion of a technical trade school in CAD drafting or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of three years of design drafting experience in an engineering or manufacturing organization.
• Experience with current 2-D and solid modeling CAD software, preferably Solid Edger.
• Working understanding of ANSI/ASME Y14 standards.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, and customized in-house software.
• Strong mathematical ability in calculations with formulas and geometry.
• Ability to use measuring tools such as calipers and micrometers.
• Excellent time and priority management skills.
• Strong oral and written communication skills in English.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Highly self-motivated and attentive to detail.
