About the position

We are seeking a skilled Drafter to join our team, responsible for creating detailed 2D and 3D drawings and blueprints based on project specifications. The ideal candidate will have experience with drafting software and a strong understanding of mechanical design concepts, contributing to exciting projects while expanding their drafting skills in a dynamic work environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed 2D and 3D drawings and blueprints based on project specifications and requirements.
• Collaborate with project managers and fabricators to ensure designs are feasible and meet quality standards.
• Revise and update existing drawings to reflect changes or improvements.
• Conduct site visits and measurements as necessary to gather accurate data for drafting purposes.
• Maintain accurate and organized records of drawings and project documentation.
• Assist in the preparation of bills of materials (BOM) and other technical documents.
• Provide support during the fabrication process, addressing any issues or discrepancies that arise.

Requirements

• Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, Fusion360, Sketchup, or similar).
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
