The ideal candidate will be proficient in multiple drafting software and have a strong understanding of design principles.

Responsibilities

• Develop and prepare detailed drawings, schematics, and layouts using drafting software such as AutoCAD, Revit, or MicroStation.
• Collaborate with engineers and architects to understand project requirements and specifications.
• Create 3D models and visualizations using software like Sketchup or SolidWorks.
• Review and revise drawings based on feedback from project stakeholders.
• Ensure all designs comply with relevant codes, standards, and regulations.
• Assist in the preparation of project documentation, including specifications and reports.
• Maintain organized records of all drafts and revisions for future reference.

Requirements

• Proficiency in drafting software including AutoCAD, Revit, MicroStation, and SolidWorks is essential.
• Experience with civil design software such as Civil 3D is preferred.
• Familiarity with mechanical design principles is a plus.
• Ability to create 2D animations for presentations or project proposals is advantageous.
• Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.
• Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
• A degree or certification in drafting, engineering technology, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
