About the position

The Architectural Drafter position at Actalent involves working closely with the Project Manager and Director of Architecture to produce comprehensive construction documents for residential projects. The role is designed for individuals with a strong background in residential architecture who are eager to grow within a collaborative team environment.

Responsibilities

• Work directly with the Project Manager and Director of Architecture in a mentorship role.
• Collaborate with an architectural drafting team to produce complete construction documents for production home builders, including floor plans, elevations, and details for new construction of single-family and multi-family residential projects.
• Identify and solve problems in a timely manner, working well with a group to achieve common goals.
• Maintain self-motivation and self-direction to accurately and thoroughly complete projects.
• Be open and willing to make adjustments based on the Director of Architecture's feedback.
• Balance team and individual responsibilities, give and welcome feedback.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience specifically in residential architecture.
• Architectural Associate's Degree or higher.
• Experience working in an architectural firm.
• Experience taking architectural plans from conceptual design through construction documents.
• Proficiency using AutoCAD Architecture.
