About the position

The CAD Drafter position at Actalent focuses on transitioning files from Creo to SolidWorks. The role involves converting files, redrawing models, and creating assemblies, ensuring high accuracy and quality in drafting work. This is a 12-month contract with the potential for permanent employment based on performance.

Responsibilities

• Convert files from Creo to SolidWorks.
• Redraw models and drawings in SolidWorks.
• Create assemblies and draft parts as needed.
• Ensure the accuracy and quality of drafting work.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth file conversions.

Requirements

• 1+ years of experience in CAD designing/drafting.
• 1+ years of experience with Creo and SolidWorks.
• Strong drafting skills and understanding of drafting grammar.
• Ability to create models and drawings in SolidWorks.

Nice-to-haves

• Some experience in converting files from Creo to SolidWorks.
• Testing and verifying the accuracy of converted files.
