Responsibilities

• Develop working drawings of cabinetry products based on customer specifications.
• Review customer-supplied layouts to identify and correct technical problems.
• Create layouts from sketches or verbal instructions when necessary.
• Interpret various computer programs and resources to modify existing drawings.
• Communicate with customer service staff and dealers to clarify orders and answer questions.
• Re-draw change order products as needed.
• Assist manufacturing staff in problem-solving specialized drawings.
• Participate in the creation and updates of the specification catalog.
• Research and develop new product ideas.

Requirements

• Associate's degree in drafting or a related field.
• 1 year of equivalent work experience in drafting.
• Advanced knowledge of AutoCAD.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Effective oral and written communication skills.
• Detail-oriented with basic computer skills.

Nice-to-haves
