As a Drafter, you will play a crucial role in collaborating with architects, designers, engineers, surveyors, and other professionals to convert designs into technical drawings. You will be responsible for collecting all drawings, data, and notes involved in a project to create accurate drafts, drafting building plans, layout interiors, and design landscaping as required. You will also draft the final version of the construction project by specifying dimensions, codes, production methods, and materials, ensuring accuracy and adherence to project requirements and industry standards. Essential job functions include utilizing CAD software to create technical drawings and documentation, reviewing and interpreting architectural, engineering, and design plans, collaborating with team members to incorporate changes and revisions, conducting detailed research to ensure compliance with building codes and regulations, and communicating effectively with project stakeholders to address any design or technical concerns.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with architects, designers, engineers, surveyors, and other professionals to convert designs into technical drawings
  • Collect all drawings, data, and notes involved in a project to create accurate drafts
  • Draft building plans, layout interiors, and designate landscaping as required

Requirements
